REV ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES COLLEGE BASEBALL SCHEDULE FOR GLOBE LIFE FIELD IN 2027
ARLINGTON, Texas – REV Entertainment today announced the complete schedule for its 2027 slate of College Baseball Series games at Globe Life Field as the nation’s premier early season tournaments return to the home of the Texas Rangers for a seventh straight season. The venue will host its largest-ever slate with 30 games featuring 22 top programs across three tournaments and three midweek games.
The Shriners Children’s College Showdown (Feb. 19-21) features six elite programs representing three major conferences – Arizona, Clemson, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas and Virginia. The weekend’s schedule is headlined by TCU facing former Big 12 foes, Texas on Saturday night and Oklahoma on Sunday night. The Sooners defeated TCU in the final game of the 2026 Shriners Children’s College Showdown to claim the tournament title and kick off their national championship campaign.
The next two weekends of baseball at Globe Life Field bring in more of the nation’s premier programs for the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series with Arkansas, Baylor, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Oregon State in Weekend 2 (Feb. 26-28), and DBU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Penn State, UCLA and Wake Forest in Weekend 3 (March 5-7).
A Saturday night matchup between Arkansas and Oregon State headlines Weekend 2 as the teams will meet for the first time since their top-10 showdown at Globe Life Field in 2024. The final weekend consists of another rematch, this time on Saturday afternoon between UCLA and Mississippi State, who met in the deciding game of the 2026 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, which No. 1 UCLA won 8-7 in 10 innings behind ninth-inning heroics from top-overall pick Roch Cholowsky.
TICKET INFORMATION: General admission tickets – including three-day tournament passes and single-day options – are on sale now at CollegeBaseballSeries.com. Single-day general admission tickets are $30 for adults and $18 for youth and provide access to all three games on the selected date. General admission tournament passes are $72 for adults and $45 for youth, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy all nine games of the event. Tickets for all three midweek games are $15. All prices are subject to taxes and fees. Home Plate Reserved tickets are also still on sale as the premier offer of the College Baseball Series, with limited tickets available for Weekend 2. A trio of midweek games will also be played at Globe Life Field as part of the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, beginning with a doubleheader on March 1 with Arkansas facing Tarleton State and Abilene Christian taking on Air Force. Baylor will square off with UT Arlington on March 2, concluding the midweek slate between the second and third weekends of baseball at the venue.
Globe Life Field has quickly become a destination spot for college baseball teams and fans, having hosted 47 teams and 185 games since 2021. The venue has welcomed more than 625,000 fans during that time, while the College Baseball Series has generated nearly $1 million in support of Shriners Children’s since 2024 with a portion of every ticket sold from all three weekends being given back to the organization.
